Arden Road Residence

This residence represents a sophisticated synthesis of traditional and modern concepts in California family homes. Spanning nearly six hundred square feet, it was built on the foundation of an original single-story house, with regulations requiring us to retain 60% of the original walls.

In keeping with the character of the traditional residential area, we chose an elegant yet understated exterior design. The materials and finishes, both inside and outside the residence, blend European high-end design with local craftsmanship. Natural light plays a significant role indoors, with each room offering views of the surrounding greenery. We meticulously proportioned the common areas, including an impressive entrance foyer, a living room with a fireplace, and a kitchen that opens into a spacious family room, providing a functional passage to the outdoors. A twelve-meter sliding glass wall connects the exterior to the interior, while the terrace with the swimming pool serves as an oasis of tranquility.
