Globus Restaurant

The task was to demolish the existing restaurant of a previous tenant in the Štěrboholy shopping center to a shell & core and to design a new dining interior of the Globus restaurant. The Czech representatives of the Globus chain approached our studio based on an older concept study that they liked, but was not implemented in the time of covid. The previous layout of the space challenged us with  area for 300 people, a disproportionate 8-meter ceiling, and a huge kitchen facility. The oversized space was given a human scale by inserting functional boxes into it. This eliminates the feeling of a dining hall and brings it closer to a cultured restaurant. In the gastro section of Globus Štěrboholy, both workers, mothers with children and people from offices now feel comfortable. The solution attracts new customers.
